Satu persetujuan telah dicapai antara pasukan Valencia CF dan Persatuan Bolasepak Negeri Johor (PBNJ) apabila Pengerusi Valencia CF, Mr Peter Lim dan Presiden PBNJ, DYAM Brigadier Jeneral Tunku Ismail Ibni Sultan Ibrahim, Tunku Mahkota Johor, telah bersepakat untuk berkolaborasi bagi membantu bola sepak negeri Johor dari segi pembangunan, pengambilan pemain secara pinjaman serta latihan pemain remaja Johor Darul Ta'zim ke Valencia CF mulai musim hadapan.
